There's
no goodbye in this girl.
The first time Susan Zorsch walked into Ellis Fischel Cancer Center, she was scared to death. She had just been diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia. What would she find behind those doors?
What Susan found was her place as part of a family and part of a team treating the cancer and healing her. She was with friends. She felt she belonged. And when she was pronounced cancer free, she found it very hard to say
goodbye. So she didn’t.
Today, Susan Zorsch is the administrative coordinator for Ellis Fischel Cancer Center. We’re glad she couldn’t say goodbye.
